Zircon class did some fantastic still life drawing today using oil pastels for the first time in year 2. As we are studying plants, we observed how the daffodils had changed from last week and drew them in a different way. Happy Easter holidays! Here are the results;
Today members of Topaz class brought in their decorated eggs for entry into our annual competition. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
The children have been learning new sketching techniques which they have adopted in their work. I was really impressed with their final work.
Children have been learning about plants from quite sometimes and now, after having carried out a successful experiment on how to grow plants, they are growing their own garden outside. Take a look at their great work!
Today Topaz class were planting their very own container garden! We planted radish, cucumber, lettuce and cornflower seeds in different containers. The children enjoyed choosing their seeds and digging in the dirt! Over the coming weeks we shall record and observe the progress of our crops.

Please write a sentence using each of the words above, using your best handwriting. This is also a great way to show that you understand the meaning of the words.
